DescriptionDocumentary evidence for a mill here can be traced to 1707. Little Mill is a water-powered corn mill built of local sandstone rubble under a slate roof and contains original machinery. The south elevation to the yard and river is two storeys and attic and there is a two storeyed lean-to cartshed. The waterwheel and wheel pit were on the north side of the building. Alterations were carried out in the nineteenth century. The Mill House (nprn 410041) lies adjacent on the east.
