1. No remains. Corn mill, and subsequently also paper mill and tucking or fulling mill. The first paper mill in Wales. Destroyed by fire in 1890. Weir on River Monnow and very short leat.
2. A 17th Century building named "Old Mill House" is still extant on the site.

In 1987 Charles Ward formed Monnow Valley Recording Studios at the 'Old Mill House', after a successful partnership with his brother Kingsley at Rockfield Studios (NPRN 545106).
