The Morannedd Cafe is located in a fine Art Deco pavilion sited at the eastern end of the Esplanade in Criccieth. Designed by Clough Williams-Ellis around 1948, it has two projecting wings set in a 'boomerang' shape with rounded terminals. It has rendered block walls with steel and glass-block windows and the seaward side is fully glazed undera flat roof that has wide overhanging eaves.
