A c.540m stretch of flat-topped bank/causeway, 9.0m across & 0.3m high, ditched to either side, running SE for 500m from SN66930645, then turning to the S, appearing at its S-most point (SN67260602) to be converging on the line of a current road: a track, depicted following the line of this feature on OS County series (Glamorgan. VIII.5 1877), turns sharply to the E at the edge of the N escarpment of Tor Clawdd, where there is an array of coal workings & other extraction features, shown as disused in 1877 (Nprn90555).
