Description
A sinuous earthwork feature emerges from the top of the small valley worn by a minor watercourse and runs for some 300m across an area of gently sloping ground. A shorter branch is also apparent. These are likely to be trackways although it is possible that they are water management features of some kind. This area was emparked in the early nineteenth century (in Middleton Hall Park - NPRN 86175) and it is likely that these features relate to the pre park landscape.
