The mine is shown on the Ordnance Survey 25in mapping and annotated as "Crown Mine (Lead)" on the first edition of 1887 and as "Crown Mine (Lead, Disused)" on the second edition of 1905. There was a shaft, a level and a leat bringing water some 250m from the Nant Cwm-bar, presumably for pumping the mine.
