Settlement set either side of bridge over Afon Gwril.

In 2015, the villagers began an art project (yarn bombing) creating knitted and crochetted animals, figures and the legendary Gwril giant to decorate the village. The purpose of the project was to bring the community together to raise funds for Y Canolfan (Llwyngwril Community Centre).
