Description
Ruined corn mill on the Nant Gwynllyn fed by a leat and pond. Machinery remained in the 1980s when Gordon Tucker visited as part of his survey of mills in Radnorshire. There were two waterwheels, one circa twelve foot in diameter, the other circa eleven foot. The larger wheel has 'J. Mills Llanidloes 1901' cast on the iron shrouds and the other 'Llanidloes Foundry 1868'. The mill is shown on the Tithe Map of 1838 and appears to have had extensive replacement of the machinery in the second half of the nineteenth century.
