Description
A ring monument described, probably a stock enclosure, discovered during an Uplands Initiative survey in 1994.
One of a group of structures now Scheduled as a prehistoric settlement site (NPRN 275626).

The enclosure is a grassy area measuring roughly 11m diameter within a rubble bank of variable width, 2m-4m, and with a height of 0.4m. There is no obvious entrance gap in the bank; three superficial gaps in the rubble are underlain by consolidated stones and are therefore likely to be erosional features.
The enclosure is built on the same terrace as neighbouring hut circles in the group, though the ground is rising here. It appears to have been partly terraced into the rising slope.
