Description
A hut circle, discovered during an Uplands Initiative survey in 1994.
One of a group of structures now scheduled as a prehistoric settlement site (NPRN 275626).

The site presents as a platform with a slightly raised, stony perimeter, located on the same terrace as a neighbouring enclosure and hut circle (NPRNs 403388-9). The circle measures overall some 12m in diameter. The grassy interior measures 7m across within a stony bank averaging 2m wide and 0.3m high. On the SE, downhill, side the bank is mostly rubble, almost level with the interior but rising to 0.5m externally. There is no obvious entrance in the bank.
Alongside the circle, to its immediate W, lies an erosional grassy, reed grown cutting up to 0.4m deep.
