1. Circa 1825. Forge originally an open arcaded building. 5 round headed arches (blocked). Interesting cast iron and wrought iron queen strut roof. Floor inserted in 19th century, supported on cast iron stanchions.
2. Site later converted to Abbey Woollen Mills (nprn 96478).
