A summary extent of the formation: from Cae-pwll-y-glo (SS78439887), Wenallt, on the west flank of Cefn Morfydd, to Ynysgerwn Tin Works in 1750 or later, by bridge across the River Neath, and, after 1795, to the Neath Canal at Pantycoed wharf (SS78509953). Disused by c.1835, but course marked on Tithe map of Llantwit Lower in 1846 and named in Tithe Schedule.
Length to Pantycoed wharf: c.1800 yards.
