Description
Icehouse in grounds of Gyrn Castle (see NPRN 86579).

A large stone construction, of egg-shaped form, truncated at the roof and floor. A 3m long passage leads to an 8.5m diameter chamber which is 6m high. It was probably thatched (currently roofed with flat metal sheeting).
