Description
Remains of a building, perhaps 15m long and 8.5m wide, were recorded in excavation in 1994. The remains were associated with medieval pottery and the building is tentatively dated from this.
The site lies immediately east of Llanfilo parish church (NPRN 217) and south of the moated enclosure (NPRN 306049).
If the building is medieval it may have been part of a manorial complex.

A watching brief at Rosary Cottage to the north-west did not record any medieval features (see NPRN 400935).
