Description
A mid nineteenth century house, thought to have served as the harbour office, set at the entrance to Porthmadog harbour. Now the Porthmadog Yacht Club.
A three storey house built of regularly coursed slate stone blocks under a slate gabled roof with end chimney stacks. It presents a three bay facade to the harbour with a central doorway. The upper storey has windows only in the outer bays, which are capped by shallow cross gables. On the south is a wider single storey lofted range. On the north the house is joined to the Seaman's Newsroom & Library (NPRN 404382), thought to be the earlier of the two. The two buildings share a common roof.
