Stone abutments narrowing the Swansea Canal to the immediate south-west of the 1960s Ynysmeudy Road Bridge over the canal. The bridge was built in the later nineteenth-century to allow a rail link to be made to small stone quarries in Cwm-du, drawings were made by the canal company.
