DescriptionThe northernmost of two round cairns is located on a terrace on ground falling away to the south, rising to the north, towards the head of the Gwys Fawr valley. It consists of loose, mixed-grade rubble surrounded by a rim of consolidated material overgrown with rushes, grasses and moss. It measures 13m (N-S) by 11m and about 1m high. The cairn has clearly been disturbed. The rim is ragged and irregular in outline and the mound centre has been partly hollowed out to form a rough shelter. No structural features are visible.
The second cairn lies about 220m to the south-south-west (NPRN 408294).
