Description
Earthworks of a roughly 130m stretch of Roman road running north-east to south-west (from SN93675177 to SN93575170) across north-east facing slopes. This is part of the route between the military settlemets at Caerau (NPRN 92153) and Castell Collen (NPRN 95708): RR623; NPRN 400954.
The causeway is from 5.0 to 6.0m wide and averages 0.4m high. This is part of a longer alignment marked by field boundaries and a public right of way.
