Description
1. Y Ffatri is a two-storey former woollen mill and house. It was part of the Nanhoron estate and is dated to the mid to later nineteenth century. The south end of the mill has a disused, but complete, 4.6m diameter water wheel, with wooden spokes and iron shrouds marked 'Durie and Davis, Aberystwith, 1870'. The wheel is an overshot type with head-stocks and a cast-iron water pipe supplying water by a syphon under the adjacent road.

2. The mill premises appear to have been on the first floor of the wing adjoining the road, with an access door in the north gable and stables and byres below. The west part of the L-shaped block was and is the mill house.
