Description
A ruined fold is located on the S side of the stream close to the Beacons Reservoir. It measures 7.8m (N-S) by 5.4m within walls of coursed slabs and blocks 0.7m thick and surviving to 1.3m high. There is an entrance gap in the NW corner and a collapsed sheep creep in the W wall. In the SE corner is a gap flanked by a wall facing the stream. This wall marks the E end of a possibly earlier structure adjacent to the fold on the S. This takes the form of a stony platform 6m (E-W) byb3.5m and 0.5m high.
