PeriodPost Medieval
DescriptionThis 'V' shaped fish trap is visible on modern aeril photographic coverage. It comprises the remains of stone walls, and is exposed at low tide. It was identified by RCAHMW staff in 2009 during aerial reconnaissance. The northern arm is depicted on historic (1889 and 1900) Ordnance Survey mapping. It measures some 140m, with the west arm measuring some 131m. This fish trap is possibly related to the nearby medieval religious foundation of St Baglan's Church (NPRN 43690).
