Description
Tower Lodge, Glanusk, is a Tudor-revival style lodge and gate-house in the form of a late-medieval fortified tower. It is a square 2-storey structure with embattled parapets, a high battered plinth and an octagonal turret at the SE corner. It is constructed of coursed grey rock-faced stone in large blocks to match the adjoining bridge. A shield on the bridge bears a date of 1836.
