Description
A four storey, six-bay brick building dating from the 1820s and originally a flannel mill, later used as a carriage works by a Mr Roberts: the original painted sign on the facade 'COMMERCIAL CARRIAGE WORKS' was restored when the building was converted into flats in the late 1990s or early 2000s. There were two single storey workshops adjoining on the east side, now gone, which housed the wheelwrights for the carriage works.
