Built circa 1890 as the former Metropolitan Bank, this is a four storey corner block building built from Bathstone with some Pennant stone. It also has a Portland stone ground floor. There is a corner bay of three windows with lead steeple with small windows and the first floor has a central oriel window. On the ground floor, there is a later Portland stone front in simple Classical style with a deep cornice and alternating paired and single Tuscan half-columns.
