Description
The 1st and 2nd editions of the 25-inch O. S. map (1889 and 1900) show two buildings, one with a short leat from the Afon Daron which will have been the fulling mill. By 1919, the date of the 3rd edition, this building was out of use but the name remained attached to the adjacent building which was probably a mill cottage. Its lower walls survive, set into the steep valley side. The mill building has survived better, roofless but with its rubblestone walls and gables standing to their full height. There is a waterwheel pit outside the south-east gable, with an axle hole, and the north-west gable has a large fireplace opening.
