DescriptionThe single storey building formerly containing fog horn compressor and associated machinery situated midway between the west (lower) and east (higher) light towers (see NPRNS 178-9). The walls are of fine ashlar painted white with a moulded cornice at level. The horn remains insitu on the roof, although the fog-signal compressor and a 20 hp Ruston Hornsby generator dating to around 1903 were taken to Leicester Industrial Museum in 1966.
