Description
Llys Meddyg is a mid to late nineteenth century substantial house built in squared rubble stone with a gabled slate roof and green stone end stacks. It is two storeys and attic, with a three-window front of large 16-pane sashes with painted slate sills and green stone voussoirs to the ground floor windows. It also has a centre four-panel door with a margin-glazed overlight and a later nineteenth century heavy ashlar porch. The front garden is enclosed by whitewashed brick dwarf walls with cast-iron arcaded rails and finials.

It is a good example of the larger town house in the region, and prominent on the eastern approach to Newport.
