Denuded oval earthwork enclosure, measuring c.77m north-east by south-west, sited on a steep hillslope some 200m west of Castell Carreg-wen hillfort. Given its heavily ploughed-down character, and proximity to a hillfort, this is likely to be a prehistoric ancillary enclosure closely contemporary with the fort. Discovered during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 20th Dec 2007 (image ref: AP_2007_4861).
