Vestigial earthworks surviving in less intensively cultivated pasture show the north-western arc of a curvilinear embanked enclosure with a narrow outer ditch. The enclosure measures c. 91m across. The south-eastern extents of the enclosure have been lost to agriculture. Only very low light and a covering of snow on 2nd Dec 2010 revealed the enclosure during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance (see AP_2010_4219-20) and given the proximity of two Bronze Age barrows the site may not be Iron Age in date but earlier.
