Description
Wayside station on the former Wrexham, Mold and Connah's Quay Railway line between Shotton and Wrexham of 1866, it was opened in 1872 as Bridge End Station. Known sometime as Caergwrle Castle and Wells Station, it was renamed Caergwrle Castle in 1898 and Caergwrle in 1974.
