DescriptionCefn Cribwr Welfare Hall opened in 1924 following a grant from the Miners' Welfare Fund for a community venue in the village. Used intensively during the interwar years, it played host to Ramsay MacDonald during the 1926 Miners' Lockout. In more recent times the Hall has been managed and run by the local council as a community centre and this is its primary purpose today.
