Description
The cropmark of a possible Roman practice work is situated just inside enclosed land on the western edge of Gelligaer Common. The camp measures approximately 120m by 120m. Pen-heol-Adam Roman Practice Camp (NPRN 91971) lies approximately 400m to the south-west and to the east on the common there are two practice camps (NPRNs: 225495 &308506). This example, if genuine, is somewhat larger than its neighbours.
