DescriptionA smithy attached to the north side of the Floor 6 mill by c.1900. The building is also attached to the south wall of a counter-balance incline drum house that took finished slate products down to the exit railway.
The smithy survives as a roofless rectangular building, constructed of circular sawn slate blocks. The interior contains two hearths.
