Description
Presenting as a 'super-sized' ring-ditch, it has been proposed by Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust that this represents a 'formative henge': one of several recognised across Britain from cropmark evidence. Dating to the Middle Neolithic era, the ring-ditch measures c. 36m in diameter. It is suggested that a bank may have existed around the external perimeter of the monument. The exact nature of the monument, however, remains unclear.
