Minera Zinc Smelter or Processing Works, part of the Minera Lead Mines complex (nprn 33932), is shown on the Ordnance Survey Second Edition 25in map of 1899 but not on either the First or Third Edition maps of 1872 and 1912 respectively and hence seems to have had a relatively short existence. There are no remains shown on modern mapping except for the base of the chimney (nprn 85313) some 150m to the southwest.
