DescriptionYstradfellte is a small village in the historic county of Brecknockshire, lying wthin the Brecon Beacons National Park. Known for its caves and waterfalls, it is also said to be the spot where the Welsh nobleman and rebel leader Llywelyn Bren surrendered at the conclusion of his revolt of 1316. Llywelyn gave himself up on the condition that his men would be spared; he was put to death in 1318 at Cardiff.
