Parc Derwen is a new village, which began development in 2008, consisting of 1,500 homes over a 220 acre site. Situated between Coity and Bridgend the village will also include a primary and nursery school and a small shopping centre. Parc Derwen is a joint venture between the Welsh Assembly Government and a consortium of housing developers:- Gallagher Estates, Persimmon Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
