The water powered sawmill is thought to be a late c19th addition to an early c19th century house, and was a single storey random-coursed stone building with a waterwheel at the south-east gable; the wheelpit and an arched opening to the tailrace survive The building has been converted to a dwelling with a modern, two-storey extension.
