Located in The Square, and on the north side of West Street, a memorial to the fallen of the First World War and the Second World War. A chamfered, slightly tapered block of polished pale granite with a memorial inscription to both wars. It stands on a square granite block to which is attached a metal plate listing the names of the fallen of the First World War. Below it, attached to the base, is a similar plate listing the fallen of the Second World War.
The memorial is mounted on a raised platform with flower beds ascended by steps through a gated entrance on the pavement.
