On the north side of this firing range (NPRN 419922) a roughly square structure is shown at the given location on the 3rd edition and later OS maps. All that is visible now is a jumble of concrete and steel piping overgrown with bracken and shrubs. Its proximity to the rifle range suggests a connection with it, perhaps a control room.
