Description
This Mission Church was built as a memorial of the Vicariate of Bishop Morgan (1578-88), who was vicar of the parish when he published his translation of the Bible into Welsh in 1588. It was built at a cost of £711, dedicated in the name of the The Virgin Mother, and opened in 1892.
The church consists of a single-cell chancel and nave with a single aisle and a bell turret. A porch with two vestries was added in 1925. The building is situated beside the Llanrhaeadr to Llanfyllin road.
