At Pentre, Queensferry, a Mission (Church of England) opened in 1887. A new (iron) church building opened in 1889 as Holy Innocents. The building is shown, but not annotated, on the Second Edition OS 25-inch map of 1899. On the Third Edition of 1911 it is shown as a Mission Room. This building was closed in 1960 and later demolished. A small dwelling is now on the site though modern mapping has it shown as 'The Old Mission Site'.
