Rockview is situated on the road to Cnwc Coch and Abermagwr and consists of a house and former shop which was associated with the lead mine at Frongoch. The house was the mine manager's and was a counting-house from which the wages would have been paid. The shop served the miners' houses of New Row and a lofted outbuilding to the rear was a store for the mine.
