Description
St Luke's church was located on the north side of Elfed Avenue. It was built in 1959-60 to designs of George Pace, of brown brick, to double as church and hall. Aside from hidden lighting in the sanctuary the church was unremarkable. Of note was a substantial wooden lectern designed by Pace.
A dwindling congregation led to closure in October 2006 and the church was redundant by 2007. It has since been demolished.
The congregation transferred to All Saints (NPRN 400335) and the church organ was given to St Peter's in Old Cogan (301276).
