Description
St Clement's church is located on the east side of St Clement's Road. It was built in 1928-30 by Ellery Anderson to replace an iron church of 1899 which had been badly damaged in a storm (NPRN 421035). This was re-erected and survives as the church hall. The present church has roughcast walls and a red pantiled roof. It consists of nave and chancel in one, west bellcote, lean-to south aisle with gabled porch, and provision for a north aisle. The interior is simple, clear and airy. Windows feature swirly leading. Furnishings are in oak.
