Description
Rhiwderin or Rhiwderyn Signal Box formerly stood at Rhiwderyn Station on the Brecon & Merthyr Railway line west of Newport. The box is a Saxby & Farmer design, type 12b, and was erected in 1884. Following closure, it was moved to the Caerphilly Railway Centre, then to Henllan Station (nprn 41361) on the Teifi Valley Railway, where the top has been re-erected on a new base (see nprn 421063). The lever frame is in store at the Gwili Railway.
