A small one up one down cottage ca 5m x 4.5 m overall with walls to lower roof line 3.5m high. This is possibly the remains of a larger structure - foundations of an extension survive at the SW of the site and are shown on 1st and 2nd ed 25 inch maps. This demolished part was supplied by a water course or leat as indicated on 1st ed 25 inch map but not on the 2nd ed., but no wheel pit survives in any form so possibly water not used for a power supply. 17m to the W of the main flannel mill site (NPRN 40951).
