Earthworks of an oval defended enclosure, measuring 55m x 67m were identified during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 6th January 2015. The enclosure is sited in a promontory position overlooking the Teifi river from the north. The enclosure is wooded on the west side where it is crossed by a hedge bank and drain, but a check on LiDAR showed the full circuit surviving. Above and to the north of the enclosure are a series of linear earthworks, probably the remains of a field system.
