The present building was opened in 1961, but previous to this date the congregation of St Katherine's met in Nissen Huts which were on the site. St Katherine's Church is a single storey building with slate roof with a small bellcote at one end. Built opposite the village hall, it has 3 sets of square-pained windows with one square window in the gable end.
