DescriptionThe 1st and 2nd editions of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps depict a large water mill at this site, described as a corn and saw mill. A mill race 570 metres long on the south side of the narrow valley carried water from the Afon Cnyffiad to a sluice behind the south end of the mill. The building has been demolished and the site is now heavily wooded.
